Tax Manager (Remote)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a tax support function to a wide network of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Supervising query responses prepared by a more junior staff member and answering more complex questions.
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues on all tax issues.
• .Advising on all aspects of company law, tax law and practice management issues
• Working on tax planning assignments from SME clients across all tax heads (group restructuring, succession planning, VAT on property.
• Training: you will develop and deliver in person and virtual training several times during the year to build up technical knowledge within our network.
• Work closely with the directors of the business to identify growth & project opportunities across the network.

Criteria / Details:

• Tax Qualified and ideally qualified ACCA / ACA / CPA.
• Minimum 5 years PQE predominantly in tax.
• Recent practice experience with strong tax planning exposure.
• Experience of Corporation, VAT, CAT, and Personal Tax is required.
• Comfortable working in a supporting, mentoring, and training role.
• Ability to manage lots of relationships at the same time.
