Extremely broad and interesting operational change role, working closely with COO of this well recognised international life company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and / or risk management within an insurance or financial services firm, with a project change mindset.
You will support the COO in the delivery of company business strategy, providing vision and leadership.
The Head of Organisation Change will be to act a strong influencer and “change driver”.

Key Responsibilities
- Fully understands Company business strategy, providing vision and leadership for the OM unit, in particular the role of the Head of OM is to act as a “change driver” for transformation, supporting the business in change journeys
- Supports the Chief Operating Officer in developing and updating the Operations strategy for the Company and the Productivity model target state, gaps and related action plans
- Ensures that the solutions designed to address business opportunities and issues are in line with the Company business strategy
- Acts as focal point for change management and project management initiatives, which drives organisational performance and efficiencies in supporting the needs of the business.
- Ensures projects are priororitised appropriately with skilled resources which deliver business growth, achieve targets, and support the implementation of business goals and objectives.
- Ensures that the Company embraces relevant aspects of Digitalization, Enterprise and Data Architecture,
- Engages with senior stakeholders to identify, report and communicate around performance improvement opportunities and agree on action plans
- Ensures that the Project Portfolio of the Company is built according to the business strategy, following the best possible resource allocation
- Head of OM interacts with relevant Functions and Units to align Operations, IT strategy and projects
The Ideal Candidate:
- Design and evaluate solutions (methodology, process, sourcing, automation, etc.) to support business opportunities and address business issues
- Support business owners in designing business rules & processes, anticipating requirements and uncovering areas for improvement (regardless of specific objective: profit, efficiency, quality, security, etc.)
- Work with the management team to identify project objectives, budgets and timelines; acts as a central project office for the whole Company
- In conjunction with the business, implement best in class solutions which support optimum strategic workforce planning solutions across all areas within the business
- Oversee all cross functional project plans including delivery of KPI‘s , metrics and reporting to inform and assist relevant stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of best practice initiatives which benefit the organisational business strategy
- Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize solutions
- Monitor and report on (main) project performance to ensure resource control and benefit realization
- Engage with fintech partners, external stakeholders etc.
- Carry out market research for key developments together with key stakeholders
- Monitor key regulatory updates and provide update to COO
- A sound background in operations, risk, finance, market management.
- Successfully led large project work / been project / program sponsor
- Solid background in insurance.
