About the Company

My client are a leading Healthcare group with multiple sites across Ireland. They develop, manufacture and supply a range of Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, Medical Devices and Diagnostics Globally. They have a presence in Ireland with multiple manufacturing operations and commercial offices. Due to success and expansion plans at their Biologics facility, they are hiring a new QC Lead to support their growth. 

About the Position

Reporting to the Site Lead for Quality Control, the QC Team Lead is a key strategic hire for our client to support them during a time of success and expansion. 

Key Responsibilities

• To lead and manage the QC Raw Materials function onsite
• To manage and mentor a small expert team 
• To promote a Quality culture onsite and ensure the QC Raw Materials group adhere to guidelines and maintain a standard that is inspection ready and GMP compliant 

Experience/Requirements

• A BSc / MSc / PhD in Science or related
• 5-10 years Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience in a GMP lab setting 
• Previous hands on raw materials testing experience with career 
• An expert in HPLC or GC 
• Extensive experience working to EMA/FDA regulatory requirements
• Ability to promote a strong Quality culture onsite
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well within a busy team environment and work cross functionally with other departments 
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland  - onsite 

Remuneration Package

Excellent package on offer including a bonus, healthcare and pension.

Base salary will depend on experience.
