Tax Senior / Assistant Manager

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading independent accounting and advisory firms with offices in both Cork and Dublin. They are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Tax Senior to join the firm at the Cork office in the role of Tax Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified CTA with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in practice.

Main Duties:

• Managing a portfolio of clients performing tax duties in planning and compliance. • Preparing computations and returns for Corporation Tax, Income Tax and Vat • Completing the required compliance in line with Irish tax deadlines. • Assisting with specific consultancy tax assignments domestic & international • Preparation of consultancy assignment reports • Liaising with Revenue on clients’ behalf

Key Criteria:

• Qualified CTA • Min 3 years’ experience in a tax practice • Excellent communication and organisational skills

The Person:

• Tax qualification OR Accountancy Qualification, or both. • Min 3 years tax background in compliance and consulting preferred
