Brightwater Executive is recruiting for a commercially astute, risk focused product manager with solid in-depth appreciation of employee benefits, protection and wellness products and B2B environments for larger multinational and domestic companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and understand customer trends, needs and value proposition in line with changing Corporate demands in the Wellness and Protection space. • Strong liaison with actuarial pricing, underwriting, Income Protection claims, sales and marketing and customer engagement teams • Understanding of Employee Benefit Consultants (ECB) mentality but equally comfortable in direct client B2B employer interaction • Project manage and lead new product developments, with proactive challenge and contribution to proposition and strategy committees. • Devise an evolving and future proof product road map for large corporates • Pull together the critical message to corporates of what makes us best in the market-lead the process of agreeing the key points here and how to flex them client by client profile • Host consultancy type conversations with large corporates on their wellness and disability experience versus the norm and identify corrective actions • Assess and review competing product providers, industry trends to ensure the company is continuously delivering best-in-class competitive, value add product services against different customer criteria. • Key strategic conduit across design, pricing and channel strategies across all channel and partners (digital products, customer propositions). • Managing and organising the roles and contributions of multiple internal stakeholders in the design and implementation product road map across enhanced existing products and new product offerings. • Responsible for the integrity of the products

The Ideal Candidate:

• 8 – 10 years experience in life/ employee benefits, well-being focused products, managing & supporting businesses with expert industry knowledge in B2B employee bens / protection products • Adept ability to balance risk management / pro-business long terms view, with proven ability to coordinate end-to-end customer product roadmaps, value add product enhancements to support a comprehensive EB / well-being product • Identifying correct distribution and pricing /value proposition thresholds for employee group plan schemes, driving increased sale conversions and profitable scalability of product portfolio, while keeping client led innovation and focus at the core • Track record of delivering customer innovation lead product road maps, positive customer and commercial outcomes across multiple channels and customer segments. • Experience in the delivery of robust product solutions • Track record in delivering improved of end to end product suite performance (profitability / loss ratios etc) • Experience of engagement with cross functional stakeholders • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Track record of influencing and supporting cross functional a team of technical experts across the product development value chain. • An understanding of the commercial needs and strategic objectives for the organisation.
