Director of FP&A Brightwater Executive has been retained to appoint a Director of FP&A for global facilities group. The organisation has over 6000 clients with 16 million items stored through file storage; secure online access; data protection; business continuity; secure destruction. The ideal person for this role will manage the preparation of annual and multi-year account budgets for the group, along with regular interaction with the executive team and board. You will be driving analytical oversight and MI packs to support more informed and forecasting and business plans. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be a member of the leadership team. Responsibilities • Performing monthly financial analyses of the results of the group and develop a monthly financial pack for the leadership team for business reviews ensuring comparisons with the budget and the forecasts and strong analytical insights and variance commentaries. • Working closely with accounting at month end, quarter end and year end to ensure that information is available on a timely basis. • Proactive in re-forecasting results mid-quarter and mid-year. • Driving continual change and improvement in the FP&A process. • Working closely with the CFO on the delivery of a finance transformation programme. • Producing a suite of management information to support executive leadership and divisional leads in running the business and making strategic decisions. • Continually improving upon dashboards and reports with an Executive audience in mind. • Building a market leading FP&A function for a fast-growing European company. • Implementation and improvement of group planning tools. • Coordination the liquidity requirements of the Group ensuring adequate coverage across the group companies. • Engage with the implementation of new financial systems. • Support necessary financial information flow for group entities. • Initiate and drive cost reduction programs across the business to support the financial targets. • To undertake ad hoc projects as required by the CFO and / or Executive team. Experience: • Professional Accounting Qualification with 9-12 + years of PQE (B2B industry experience preferred). • Good working knowledge of accounting software packages. • Advanced Excel skills and very strong analytical skills. • Demonstrated experience of building, leading and developing an FP&A function. • Prior experience of working in a P/E backed company would be highly desirable.
