Job Title: Manager Reports to: Senior Manager/Partner Profile of Position: Has solid skills in Project and People Management that continues to develop and improve by managing projects and project teams, ensuring excellent delivery; supports the growth of colleagues. Designs and independently manages complex projects, acts as the main interface with the client; promotes project follow-up and potential further sales by carrying out all necessary pre-sales activities; occasionally begins to deal directly with re-sales. Develop innovative skills; carries out recruiting, mentoring and knowledge management activities and is an active part of the evaluation process. Participate in networking and marketing events. Masters the rational and emotional component of change and learns how to manage politics of change Key Accountabilities: • Ability to define and design projects (objectives, deliverables, activities, resources, plan, risks, critical success factors) • Ability to organise project activities consistently with the objectives and constraints of the project • Written and oral communication skills and mastery of the main analytical and communication tools • Preparation of meetings with the client • Management and facilitation meetings with customers • Ability to direct, guide and motivate the project team to achieve timely delivery of high quality output • Ability to "empower" resources to make them autonomous • Ability to stimulate and motivate resources constantly • Ability to promote continuous learning and encourage moments of professional and personal growth • Management of one's own time and that of the team • Production of documentation useful for commercial purposes (documents, analysis, articles, blogs...) • Identification of new sales opportunities (at your client) • Ability to calibrate workload and challenges in line with each person's capacity and growth goals • Work-life balance management for the team Competencies: • Knowledge of the Financial Services sector and / or specific sub-sectors (product / service families, main players, industry structure, regulation, data sources, competitive strategies, ...) • Knowledge of the main themes in the sector • Ability to be professionally credible, useful and make us and our work valuable to customers • Definition of the characteristics of the new potential opportunities (objectives, internal customer, decision-making process, risks, ...) • Flexibility and adaptability • Clear communication skills – can summarise and get to the point • Be self-driven & pro-active, a team player • Leadership - acts as a role model to analysts and consultants, deals with ambiguity and remains composed under pressure Qualifications & experience: • 7-10 years of demonstrated consulting experience with consulting firm or within financial service organisation • Degree preferably with some business and finance modules • Proficient use of IT tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word ) Key Performance Indicators & Conduct Requirements: • High professional standard of customer care • Composed under pressure and comfortable managing complexity and ambiguity • Display a 'can-do' attitude within a collaborative teamworking environment • Ability to create a positive atmosphere and create shared aspirations • Ability to act as a mentor • Self-Organised and Proactive attitude • Caring towards client and team members • Passionate about what you do and fun to work with • Detailed oriented to provide excellence in solutions to clients For more information on this Insurance related job or other related jobs, contact James Reilly on or to apply, click the button below.
