Brightwater is looking for a Production Scheduler in Dublin who will be responsible for maintenance of the production calendar, identifying materials needed to meet the production schedule for QA and issuing of work orders to the production floor.


This role works directly with production and master scheduling to provide an execution schedule that meets the demands of both respective departments. In addition, work with maintenance and QA to track compliance activities on the production schedule. This role will be a key participant in the production meetings weekly. This role will be required to identify shortages for the LAB and to provide a priority listing of materials to release to meet the production schedule. The Production Scheduler will report to the Master Scheduler.

Job Requirements:

• Require 5+ years of scheduling experience or related field • Basic knowledge of Pharma Industry with knowledge of GMP standards • Understanding of finite work orders and batching manufacturing process • Proficiency with ERP/MRP/CRP activities and utilizing them efficiently to manage the work load. QAD is our ERP system • Flexible schedule and be willing to take on additional time commitments outside the normal work week as needed • Ability to communicate and take direction from the Master Scheduler • Strong organizational and planning skills are needed • Maintaining a team player mentality and customer focus is essential • Ability to proactively seek resolution and react quickly when unfavorable circumstances arise. • Must have or be willing to get APICS CPIM training to qualify for the role

Specific Duties:

• Download the demand from ERP and develop production schedule, maintain a daily executed schedule that is lot specific that supports the needs of the facility • Release work orders issued to the floor to maintain steady tact (production) time and reduce downtime • Identify items that need to be released for the Work order process to be completed • Build and maintain relationships with quality, logistics, production, CS/sales and procurement to effectively meet the demands of the facility
