Head of HR Central Services | Pharma | FMCG Brightwater Executive have been retained to appoint a Head of HR Central Services. Reporting into the Chief People Officer, the successful appointee will be a talented and experienced senior operational HR professional who has designed, built and implemented centres of excellence. The appointee will be charged in driving a global operational central services division to ensure global best practice is maintained in HR as the business continues to scale to a shared service model. Alongside driving operational efficiency and consistency, the role will also be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives to support the HR community across a breadth of activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take a lead role in a change management program within the group • Lead Policy, Process and Procedure Design and education for HR Central Services • Bring external shared services expertise to build the new approach and team. • Influence and provide expert advice to a highly functioning management team globally on all things HR • Develop HR solutions by collecting and analysing information; recommending courses of action and transitioning relevant processes to line management • Continually challenge the business, driving the transformation and growth agenda from an HR perspective that improves overall organisational effectiveness, delivery of HR services that support the employee life cycle. • Continually assesses the effectiveness and implementation of the HR Shared Services model globally, acting as role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to, and the HR team deliver to the agreed global and local service. • Prepare presentations and data/insights analysis working with HRBPs and subject matter experts as required • Supporting the design and testing of appropriate supporting systems & technology

Experience Required:

• 10+ years of HR experience in a shared services environment • Experience In leading a transformation team that repositioned the HR offering • Proven experience in driving transformation projects and balancing project management with operational demand. • Strong experience on all components of the Employee Life Cycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management and talent development, payroll and reward administration, and data and insights analysis/presentations • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Human Resources legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures and employee relations know-how. • Must have strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
