Italian Tax & Wealth Management Lawyer Brightwater are seeking an Italian Lawyer on behalf of their client, a leading provider of Wealth Management Solutions in Dublin. Our client provides wealth planning to multimillion high net worth individuals, and offers bespoke arrangements/contracts/services. The role will be in the Technical Services & Products team and will report to the Technical Services Manager Requirements • Italian qualified Lawyer, with minimum 5 years qualified experince gained working full time in a law firm, insurance company or wealth manafgement advisory firm. • Fluent Italian and godd undertsanding of english language • Knowledge of wealth planning essential • Tax qualification highly desirable but not essential • Strong Attention to Detail • Analytical Mind/Capability • Good Communication Skills • Prioritising work load and time management; Responsibilities • Provide legal and tax expertise for wealth planning • Follow Tax and Wealth Planning developments and market updates • Follow Legal & Regulatory developments in terms of new legislation, case law and keep up to date with changes that are being considered in the country • Advise the business on Legal & Tax matters • Answer business as usual request from sales and operations regarding specific legal and tax questions on the product, the sales and servicing process or special queries from clients and distributors • Contribute to product development and maintenance providing tax, wealth Planning and legal advice • Analyse the viability and effectiveness of wealth structuring solutions including ad-hoc non-standard cases • Research legal & tax topics and advise on areas of interpretation • Manage external firms by providing briefs, review advices, direct work and conclude on recommendations • Develop strong relationships with the sales team and assist them in servicing and developing business with partners • Participate to marketing activities as a subject matter expert in tax, legal and wealth planning. This includes speaking at events, partners meeting and content development • Draft and update product and marketing literature (Terms & Conditions, Application Forms, Policy Schedule and regulatory pre-contractual documentation, Case Studies, Brochure, Digital Content) • Ensure that the literature is in line with the proposition, sales, servicing and Legal & Tax requirements • Sign-off on all legal materials that binds the company contractually • Sign-off on financial promotions documentations ensuring it is in line with the applicable regulation • Draft intermediary, custody, asset management and service agreements • Review partners’ standard agreements and assess if the conditions are acceptable for the business. • Negotiate clauses and escalate potential risks For more details on this job, including a full job description, please contact Sorcha Corcoran on 02890 325 325 or s.corcoran@brightwater.ie
