 Senior Compliance Manager Reporting into the Head of Compliance the successful Compliance Manager will have a minimum of 8 years’ legal, compliance or regulatory experience within the Capital Markets arena. You will join a rapidly expanding legal and compliance function for this progressive financial services group, who are based in Dublin 2. Day to day duties include but are not limited to • Lead a team of 4 compliance specialists within the Capital Markets area • Manage relationship with relevant regulators. • Respond to ad hoc questions from the business which relate to the Irish regulatory environment in a timely and complete fashion. • Involvement with projects which require compliance lead or input. • Consideration and escalation of the regulatory, reputational and ethical risk associated with proposed strategies and business lines. • Issuing policies to the business and providing training as required and in line with the local annual compliance training plan. • Provide input into European and Irish regulatory consultations. • Input to the periodic risk assessment, testing and surveillance processes. • Facilitating coordination with other internal control functions as required, e.g. Internal Audit and Operations. Requirements • 8+ year working in a compliance team in an investment business firm. • A third level business, finance, legal or similar qualification • In depth understanding of the functioning of debt & equity capital markets. • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment related to a deal driven business. • Extensive experience in influencing decisions at the most senior levels within an investment firm environment.
