This position is responsible for Software implementation, System Integration, Development, Configuration, Technical Support, and Performance Tuning. The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Bank Applications. Initially the role relates to third party products in the area of Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance, but may expand over time into other banking-related applications. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing. Experience with Banking or Compliance applications is desirable but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have an Application Support background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group. Occasional travel may be required.


  • Install and configure new releases of different applications into Test and Production environments
  • Coordinate the Release process with business groups, vendors and operations
  • Communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow up support as required
  • Application Support / Development
  • Configure/Develop new system functionality
  • Administer and resolve support requests coming from application users
  • Maintain applications.
  • Create and run ad-hoc database queries / Reports
  • Effectively Communicate with the user community
  • Design and Develop application interfaces as required
  • Maintain existing interfaces
  • Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, Database, and SQL code levels
  • Data Management & Configuration
  • Develop and execute database queries to manage tables
  • Create, Copy, Move, and Delete databases
  • Oversee technical environments including databases, application servers, and web servers
  • Testing
  • Coordinate QA and Stress Testing.
  • Provide direction & support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance Testing.
  • Create Test Cases and coordinate execution of the Test Plans.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years technical experience in Application Support or other technical position.
  • Experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces
  • Strong experience with Oracle and\or MS SQL
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Experience maintaining MSSQL 2012 databases
  • Windows and Unix scripting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill managing change
  • Knowledge of XML
  • Familiarity with the pitfalls of deploying web / citrix applications is a must. Industry standard experience with the following web servers IIS, Apache, NGNIX would be very advantageous.
