Tax / Accounting Technician (Kerry)

Our client is one of the leading independent firms in the Kerry region. They offer an extensive range of professional accounting, taxation and advisory services and have a broad range of experience across different sectors such as construction, retail, agriculture, and non-profit organisations. They would like to recruit an experienced accounting technician with a practice background to join the firm in the new year focusing on working in the Tax area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients preparing and filing tax returns • Responsible for handling Revenue queries under all tax heads. • Preparing Income tax returns for individuals with PAYE • Preparing tax returns allowing for Rental and dividends income • Ah hoc finance and other tax duties as required

Key Criteria:

• 2 Years previous experience in a practice environment • Qualified Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant ACCA / CPA • Previous exposure to the main tax heads IT, PAYE, VAT and CT To apply to this excellent job opportunity, send your latest CV via the portal provided.
