Senior Finance Appointment Brightwater Executive has been retained to appoint a Senior Finance Partner for a leading service organisation. Reporting to the MD and partnering with the Group Finance Director, the successful appointee will hold responsibility for providing key commercial, financial and operational information, processes and analytics. Challenge and contribute to the creation and delivery of strategies and plans that drive the organisations sustainable growth. Working with the analytical reporting teams to develop an impactful and insightful report of monthly performance, supporting the focus on KPI’s. In addition, the role ensures that the business improves its ability to budget/forecast to ensure the SMT are aware of emerging industry trends

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality financial and business analysis with key focus on delivering targeted profit, tracking and monitor trading on a daily basis • Work alongside organisational peers to ensure a unified finance function • Working with key stakeholders across the organisation, challenging their strategy in order to make recommendations to deliver improved revenues, profit and cash. • Responsible for delivering timely performance analysis, reporting and commercial review. • Full ownership of the annual budget and formulation of financial targets • Responsible for working capital, driving processes that reduce debt and deliver on early cash collection. • Ensures rigorous financial controls delivers reliable and timely management information • Provide and report on end of month reports. • Supporting the SMT in group-wide decision-making

Skills and Experience

Essential: • Qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) • Experience in the service/facilities industry • Experience within a PLC or PE backed organisation • Must have the credibility and gravitas to liaise with and challenge senior members of the business. • Strong analytical ability and forecasting skills with attention to detail. • Excellent modelling and presentation skills. • Experience of analysing and conveying complex ideas to non-finance colleagues.
