An excellent Compliance Officer role has become available with an Insurance firm in Dublin City Centre. This role will directly support the Head of Compliance in the day to day management of a globally active Insurance company.

This Compliance Officer will oversee the operations of a brand-new team of 3 Junior Compliance Officers. The function will have a high-level of responsibility to internationally-based and Irish-based branches. You will have a support role in preparing for Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) Compliance inspections, and manage queries and requests within the Compliance function.
Your day to day:
  • Lead the Compliance monitoring plan and implementation of a Compliance culture in the Dublin office
  • Support the Head of Compliance in the day-to-day running of the Compliance Department.
  • Responsibility for organising and arranging the Compliance Training Plan
  • Assist the Group Compliance function with upstream regulations and regulatory change
  • Updating and maintaining records as needed
  • Work with the Head of Compliance to complete internal and external Compliance reporting and assist in preparation of CBI reports
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and integrity that helps demonstrate the intrinsic value of the Compliance function to the wider business

  • You will have:
  • 5+ years' in a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager job
  • Ideally, you will have some experience in the Insurance Industry with both Irish and international exposure
  • Familiarity with Central Bank of Ireland reporting standards
  • A passion for implementing a Compliance culture and demonstrating to the broader group how this function supports the whole
  • Ideally hold the LCOI/ACOI Professional Diploma in Compliance
