Our client based in West Cork are an ever expanding and rapidly growing successful food ingredients business. They present an opportunity for an energetic, recent graduate who is looking to kick start their career in an IT support role with the chance to be mentored by a very experienced manager.


  • Provide day-to-day technical support for end-users, including software and hardware
  • Setting up PCs, laptops and mobile devices for all new users
  • Troubleshoot all IT issues ensuring that incidents are appropriately logged and communicated through to resolution.
  • First line of support and offering advanced support by answering technical queries and solving issues remotely.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Build and deploy PCs, patch network points, troubleshoot printer problems, support standard software packages.
  • Provide desktop support for all users including remote users
  • Ensure IT policies and processes are correctly followed

  • Degree in Information Technology (Hardware)
  • CompTiA Certification : A+ or Network +
  • Working knowledge of configuring, supporting and maintaining computer hardware.
  • Experience with relevant IT systems; Microsoft Windows Desktop Systems and Microsoft Exchange 365; MSOffice & Office 365
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for achievement and excellence.
  • Good organizational, prioritisation and administrative skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of user issues.
