An opportune time to join this leading boutique advisory firm as a Tax Associate Director. With fantastic offices and an agile working environment, you will be working alongside a team of great colleagues covering an impressive, long standing portfolio of privately owned SMEs clients, ranging across a range of industry sectors and HNW private client work. Tax Associate Director Joining a firm of over 20, you will be part of the senior management team of 6 in delivering an exceptional level of discrete and professional, commercially robust taxation strategies and solutions to clients. This is an excellent progressive career move for someone currently at Senior Manager or Director level, looking to expand their client advisory expertise, working alongside some of Ireland’s best industry thought leaders.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse and exciting client portfolio across various consultancy led projects. • Lead and mentor teams while managing client escalation points and more complex queries as the client project lead against your portfolio work Provide expert advice and a solution oriented advise across: • Formulating the most tax-efficient strategies around one-off transactions • Tax compliance • Business sales, property acquisitions and sales • Family ownership structures, company re-organisations, shareholder agreements • Estate and succession planning – CGT / inheritance tax. • Longer term, succession and retirement advisory • Structuring of investment portfolios • Revenue audits, enquiries and investigations.

Your ideal background will be:

• 8 years + CTA and / or ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally Big 4 / Top 10 training with a core specialism in private client advisory work • A natural relationship builder with strong client relationship management skills and an ability to support and guide clients through highly complex tax advisory work. • Strong IQ, EQ and adaptability. • Client centric and gains a huge sense of pride and satisfaction in providing an exceptional service for clients. • Articulate with an innate drive to share your expertise with colleagues and continuously build your own technical and commercial acumen. • Enjoys mentoring and imparting less experienced team members with your expertise and knowledge •
