HR Job- Human Resource Manager

Our client, a leading Irish public sector company based in Dublin city centre is looking for a HR Manager to join their HR team.

Primary overview;

To lead the company’s talent acquisition strategy; to build the employer brand; management of overseas colleagues and succession planning; to manage and develop the company’s compensation and benefits framework delivering a consistent and cost efficient global mobility framework and to provide guidance to Managers and Staff on employee relations across the international network.

Key Accountabilities:

• Recruitment: Develop and manage the implementation of a resourcing strategy for the organisation based on the needs of the company strategy across the overseas office network including Ireland, ensuring all offices are resourced at all times to capacity with highly talented marketing and insight-led professionals. • Compensation & Benefits: Develop and maintain an international contracting/assignment framework which is legally compliant in our thirteen markets, competitive to attract talent and which delivers a level of mobility integrated with organisational career planning objectives. Management of Irish staff terms and conditions, salary actions and approvals for all Dublin based staff. • Employee Relations: Provide timely expert advice and guide best practice employee relations strategies for Managers on the application and interpretation of a wide spectrum of collective and national agreements, people policies and practices. • Build the employee relations capability of Managers through coaching, case workshop and online toolkits and supports. • Ensure all government reporting and employment contracts are up to date at all times and compliant with government guidelines.

Person Specification

• Degree in relevant discipline e.g. Human Resource Management, Business, Finance or related field • Membership of relevant professional bodies e.g. CIPD or other appropriate is advantageous • 5 years + HR experience at senior executive level with some experience of Public sector and or Consultancy firm advantageous • Proven experience as a Compensation and Benefits specialist • Prior experience in HR practices compensation cycle management • Current knowledge of labour laws in Ireland and Overseas • Extensive knowledge and experience of HRIS/MS office and researching market salary surveys I Ireland and overseas • Experience of competency based frameworks and their implementation • Working knowledge of job evaluation • Recruitment and Testing • Employment law, IR and Union Negotiation For more details, please contact Aoife O'Donovan on 01 662 1000 or a.o'donovan@brightwater.ie
