Intro/h5> My client is a global insurance company based in Dublin city centre and they are looking for a strong business project manager to lead multiple, large-scale work streams for transformation projects in Dublin.
Purpose of this role/h5> This Project Manager will take the lead in delivering a number of key finance projects. The initial focus will be supporting the migration of overseas business onto the in-house actuarial engine in addition to supporting on a number of other strategic actuarial and finance projects.
Key Contribution Areas /h5>  Develop and lead medium to large actuarial transformation projects ensuring delivery on scope, time, budget, quality and within compliance.  Produce and maintain robust project plans, reporting and managing risks & issues, escalating within the business as appropriate.  Responsible for accurate and timely production of project reporting and budget tracking  Identification and integration of stakeholders’ interests and proactive engagement to ensure achievement of project objectives.  Facilitation of Finance, Actuarial, cross-functional teams and country units allocating tasks and pushing through activities to ensure good progress.  Manage dependencies and interfaces between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring all relevant information is passed on as and when required.  Estimation, coordination and prioritisation of resources.  Provide excellent facilitation and decision-making capacity based on project perspective.  Third party vendor management, budget tracking and maintenance.
Essential Experience Required
 A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a Financial Services project manager role demonstrating the relevant principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective project management from initiation through to implementation.  PMP/PRINCE 2 accreditation or equivalent mandatory.  Excellent influencing skills, ability to gain results through management of people/teams.  Strong technical and problem solving skills, ability to gather information and probe for facts.  Flexible and open attitude - ability to react to changing priorities and work unsupervised.  Demonstrable experience at actively seeking and driving through solutions in order to overcome project issues.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to win commitment from others.  Languages – German and/or French desirable
