IT Jobs- Our client a leading Global Software company located in Dublin City Centre have an excellent IT job opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer with excellent hands on experience in Java/ Spark Spark, big data ecosystem ETL coding experience along with 5+ years of analytical skills and capable of influencing on technical issues. As a QA Automation Engineer you will have the opportunity to write test plans and build automated tests to ensure quality of their Big Data Pipelines, Data Marts and Analytical products built using cloud infrastructure that serves majority their customers. The team are working with modern technologies like AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Spark/Scala, AWS Redshift, Elastic Search and Kubernetes to build the next generation of our products and infrastructure. Tests for these infrastructures are written using Spark/Scala Test, JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium, etc. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly formed team within an established globally successful company and part of a team that is growing and will offer a lot of autonomy and opportunity to grow out your tech stack and continue to learn new technologies.

• Design, develop, modify and/or test software applications for the healthcare industry. • Create test plans and ensure quality of all deliverables by the team • Build automated tests for big data platforms, complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management. • Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable test solutions by applying algorithms, data structures, and development best practices. • Contribute to code review process. • Clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis. • Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration test, load test, and user acceptance tests. • Build CI/CD pipelines and ensure high quality and reliable deployments

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience • Broad knowledge and working experience with Spark, big data, and relational database technologies • 2+ years of Spark, big data ecosystem ETL coding experience • 5+ years of analytical skills and capable of influencing on technical issues • 5+ years of experience working with Java, Spark/Scala, Soap UI, Selenium, JMeter, and Unit Testing • 3+ years working with RDBMS (One or more of: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift) • Professional Software Development experience with standard agile practice, CI/CD required Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
