Finance Investment Analyst

This is a key business role within the Finance Investment Department. This role will report into the Finance Investment Manager assisting them in the control of Investment accounts for IFRS and Solvency II (plus other tax, EV basis etc.). The successful candidate will support the review of Investment Fees calculations, which also includes investment KPI/SLA monitoring covering ownership, existence, completeness and governance/oversight for Management, Audit, Tax and Regulators. Other significant responsibilities are to ensure accuracy of all Investment costs such as fee calculations for outsourcers, system providers, staff etc. The successful candidate will have the potential to work on a multi project discipline spanning across several international markets and working environment.

Key Contribution Areas
 Support IFRS Financial Statement Investment numbers and notes, running, maintaining, controlling and improving the investment operating model.  Responsible forensuring that all Investment Solvency II reporting (QRTs) are submitted on time and to standard.  Monthly delivery of Investment Accounting numbers to all entities  Fully responsible for the creationof all Finance Investment process and procedures documents andensuring all are up to date  Regular BAU reporting including metrics  Ensure all task lists and timelines planned are met  Ensure adequate documentation of all tasks undertaken (including supporting /completing as needed)  Support the Finance Investment Manager on any changes in the operating model
Personal Capabilities Required
 Ability to work on both a structured and unstructured basis and must have a ‘can do’ attitude  Strong technical and problem-solving skills  Good organisation skills, time management and willingness to work to tight deadlines  Attention to details, quality driven mentality and high standards of accuracy  Ability to review large volumes of documents to glean out relevant portions pertaining to the finance investment operation team  Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skill Required
 MSc in Finance or relevant industry qualification  Experience in Investment Accounting  Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Finance or Investments role in the Financial Services/Insurance industry  Experience of working in a dynamic company environment with an appreciation of BAU and change  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills If you’re interested in this or other financial services jobs, please contact John Howe on 01 662 1000 or email
