I am seeking an Information Security Manager for a role based in the heart of Dublin city. In this role you will assist in vision and leadership for development and support of cyber security initiatives. The Information Security Manager directs the planning and implementation of security-related enterprise IT systems, business operations, and facility defenses in order to protect against security breaches and vulnerabilities. The post holder works with the firm's risk and compliance functions to audit existing systems, while managing the administration of security policies, activities, and standards.


• Participates as a member of the IT management team in the governance of cyber-security strategies across the organisation, globally. • Leads strategic security planning to achieve business goals by prioritising defense initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future security technologies using risk-based assessment methodologies. • Leads the firm's ISO27001 compliance and accreditation effort. • Develops and communicates security policies to partners, staff, clients, and stakeholders. • Defines and communicates plans, procedures, policies, and standards for the acquisition, implementation, and operation of new security systems, equipment, software, and other technologies. • Acts as advocate and primary liaison for security vision via regular written and in-person communications with the partners, department heads, and end users. • Manages the administration and day-to-day operation of computer security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, anti-virus, SIEM and data-loss-prevention's software.


• At least 7 years' experience managing and/or directing an IT and/or security operation. • Proven experience in planning, organising, and developing IT security and facility security system technologies. • Experience in planning and executing security policies and standards development. • Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including information security, building security, and defense solutions, backed by multiple industry certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 CISSP or SSCP, ISACA CISM or CISA. • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations. • Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems.
