This is a fantastic opportunity for a Information Security Technical Analyst to join a global law firm in state-of-the-art offices based in the heart of Dublin city. You will support the Information Security Manager with the implementation of new security solutions. Additional responsibilities involve supporting the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the creation / maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures. In addition, you will organise and conduct vulnerability audits and assessments. The Information Security Analyst will be fully aware of security goals, have a thorough understanding of the threat landscape, and will work to mitigate threats and maintain best-in-class security.


• Assist with the management and operation of security controls. • Help in streamlining and automating of security controls in order to improve overall enterprise security by reducing human factor. • Deployment, integration and configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures and/or security policy documents. • Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations. • Review logs and reports of all in-place devices, whether they be under direct control (i.e., security tools) or not (i.e., workstations, servers, network devices, etc.). Interpret reports and resolve issues identified. • Participate in forensic investigations. • Participate in the design and/or execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, risk assessments, and security audits. • Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT Security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors. • Provide a point of escalation for the Service Desk team with respect to security-related events, and provide on-call support as required.


• At least 5 years' experience operating in a hands-on IT Security capacity. • Security-focused industry certification such as CISSP, CCSP, GMON, GCCC etc. • Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining of ISO27K1, CIS CSC20, NIST CF etc. • Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing security solutions/controls for on-prem and cloud environments. • Experience in operating and managing of the following solutions: - Firewalls - Access Management - SIEM - Anti-malware - Vulnerability Scanning - Web filtering - Data-Loss Prevention - Data Discovery • Good knowledge of implementing, managing, interrogating and reporting of M$ security controls. • Good knowledge of implementation and maintenance of PKI infrastructure. • Proficiency in using network traffic and web analytic tools. • Good understanding and usage of RESTful API's.
