Providing both On Premise and in the Cloud solutions, allowing companies to improve the management and control of their global shipping. As the software engineering manager you will be part of the team that sets the direction for technology, tools and processes for the organisation. You will lead a group of software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and others in design and development providing guidance on architecture and user experience. You will work closely with Product Management to define scope and timelines and will keep stakeholders up to date. Additionally, you will have operational responsibility for the content subscription service that goes hand in hand with the products being delivered. What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Software Development manager delivering enterprise web products in an Agile environment. • Have lead teams in the design of applications that are robust, scalable and secure. • Have a minimum of ten years experience with Java technologies (such as Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, Sencha Ext JS, AJAX, SQL) o At least three years leading a team. o At least five years as a senior software engineer. • Accreditation as a Scrum Master or Agile coach. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. • Experience of a Microservice Architecture would be beneficial. • Knowledge of the Supply Chain industry would be beneficial.
