 Senior Finance Project Manager Leading P&C Insurer looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive a number of core change work streams against their finance function, Working closely with actuarial and data /IT feed also, this person has to be adept in PMO skills with proven ability to lead through senior technical subject matter experts a number of core project workstreams across group multi-jurisdictional teams. 8 – 10 years PMO / project management expertise, ideally in the re/insurance sector or financial services advisory sector, with a strong appreciation of systems integrations also.

Key focus will be to work closely with the Group Technical Reporting Lead, who is the Project Director sponsor, in supporting the implementation of IFRS 17 & US GAAP LDTI (long term duration contracts and targeted improvements), working with a senior technical teams across finance, actuarial and IT & Change.

• Project manager to work with the Project Director across the IFRS 17 & US GAAP LDTI Implementation Project • Support and manage communications from the project office to Steering Committee, Workstream leads, External Consultants & wider project team • Assist in driving agendas for Steering Committee meetings to align with planned activities and project priorities • Actively manage the Workstream Lead relationships with Project Office • Driving agenda for regular Workstream Lead calls & take responsibility for delivery of materials to support meetings • Develop planning to meet key project deadlines, including identification of resource requirements • Facilitate Steering Committee and Workstream Lead meetings to include scheduling, preparation of materials, minutes and key actions of same. • Develop overall project plan and produce supportable resourcing requirement • Active management of project plan • Act as a key point of contact for the wider project team • Build and execute on project communications plan and manage workshops and onsite events required by the business & the project • Manage required deliverables from Project Office including required reporting to Audit Committees and Regulatory bodies across the Group • Additional Finance and External Reporting project management activities as they arise.


• Solid Project Management Office (PMO) expertise ideally in insurance or reinsurance or FinTech environment • Clear and concise communicator across technically complex topics • Devise and roll out effective project path across various business units & interdependencies to meet key deadlines • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with cross functional business units • Understanding of stakeholders and ability to communicate concisely with same • Exposure to IT implementations a distinct advantage • Flexibility and adaptability, able to work in a dynamic environment For more details on this Senior Finance Project Manager job, please contact Estelle Davis on 01 662 1000 or
