Job: Payroll team Manager Location: Dublin city centre Salary: €55k - €65k plus bonus, pension contribution of 5%, healthcare cover, mobile phone allowance and car parking You will be joining a leading, international professional services company with a people first policy and excellent working environment and culture. As part of an expansion in their service offering, they are growing their payroll bureau and need an experienced payroll manager to lead a newly created team. Clients are based across ROI, NI and the UK so experience in UK payroll and multi-currency is needed.

Key responsibilities for the Payroll team Manager

- Manage, motivate, coach and develop your payroll team - Act as point of escalation for your team’s queries - Liaise with clients on service queries - Work with Senior Payroll Managers on continuous improvement and establishing and promoting best practices - Co-operate with HR for your team’s performance, appraisals, recruitment needs and learning and development objectives. This job will draw on both your technical payroll experience and people manager skills, acting as team lead and point of escalation for queries, your role will also be client facing ensuring smooth business operations

The ideal person for this Payroll team Manager vacancy

 8+ years of operational Payroll experience, ideally within a large offering like shared service, bureau or large Practice  2 years’ delivery in a team management capacity  People focused, passionate about the professional development of your team members  Advanced MS Excel skills and good experience/exposure to leading payroll packages and their functionality  Able to communicate directly with client companies in order to resolve issues quickly and endeavour to improve on-going services  EU citizen or holding a current Stamp 4 visa
