My client a family-owned retail & hospitality organization, are currently seeking an experienced E Commerce Manager to join a dynamic team in a competitive and fast paced retail environment.


• Lead a team of talented staff through the collaborative design and communication of clear and effective annual goals, which are monitored and supported regularly. • Oversee and support on-line operations. • Improve online performance and ROI. • Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance. • Manage the expectation of key stakeholders during the project life cycle and ensure their satisfaction of the project outcomes. • Keep up to date with E commerce best practice and make recommendations on new digital marketing and E commerce opportunities • Delivery of key Digital / Web projects • Actively lead UX/UI plan in collaboration with Marketing/buying and IT. • Lead all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting • Have a collaborative style working in conjunction with other business units ie. Marketing/Buying/Retail and stakeholders to drive profit, traffic and identify new web ideas, define requirements, create projects proposals and to assist in securing the appropriate budgets and resources required to deliver them successfully. • Collaborate with internal departments and online merchandisers to ensure that our digital offering follows best e-commerce practices. • Oversee standards across the site and conduct scheduled audits. • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis. • Highlight potential risks and act proactively to resolve issues. • Be an active member of the project team, supporting colleagues and peers to help achieve overall digital goals, and those of the team.


• Proven work experience as an E commerce manager. • Demonstrated ability to manage projects under challenging and pressurized scenarios. • Hands-on and creative web project owner / project manager who can effectively suggest, drive and challenge new ideas/ initiatives. • Knowledge of website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation, traffic analysis and reporting tools is desirable. • Commercial acumen in relation to on-line marketing. • Understanding and experience in, UX and Google Analytics is desirable. • Strong people interaction and relationship building skills across multiple functions within the organization. • Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a strong ‘client / customer oriented’ ethos. • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal and presentation skills. • Strong knowledge of retail business an advantage. • Staff management/supervision experience essential.
