My client is a dynamic and progressive retail & hospitality organisation who are currently seeking an experienced Online Operations Manager to join a dynamic team in a competitive and fast paced retail environment for a fixed term contract 3-6 months (covering leave of absence) The role of Online Manager would suit a motivated self-starter that has a proven record in management, with a keen eye for commercialism, ability to prioritise, plan, organise and manage financial performance and building teams. The Online Operations Manager will report to the E Commerce Manager. Main Competencies and Duties are:

Financials

• Track and report on site metrics • Drives sales and profits of the e-store • Improve online performance and their return on investment • Identify gaps in our product to increase sales in conjunction with buying.

Customer Service

• Promote the eCommerce website • Drive customer experience improvements by identifying areas of friction or inefficiency during the customer journey. • Managing and prioritising customer journey improvements and ensuring ongoing reporting and analysis is delivered. • Marketing / Buying/IT Collaboration • Monitor and analyse effectiveness of new features, web site changes, and marketing campaigns in collaboration with E-commerce Manager and Marketing teams. • Liaise with the buying and marketing department to assure that all relevant products, descriptions & images are displayed for customers effective promotions/content are set up and run up online • Liaise with IT to prioritize, and be the escalation point for, system defects/change requests and incidents resolution. • Lead ux/ui in collaboration Marketing/buying and IT.

Stock/Web Management

• Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout the website. • Copy, edit and proof read all web content • Monitor fulfillment of orders, ensure co-ordination between dispatch and customer service teams to ensure that customer expectations are met • Responsible for ensuring the site is merchandised to a high standard that reflects our brands • Maintain and update customer facing assets and conduct scheduled audits of our stock range to ensure accuracy. • Drive content building for the website reflecting the aims and strategies of the business and customer sales opportunities.

Managing and developing Team

• Lead a team of talented staff through the collaborative design and communication of clear and effective annual goals, which are monitored and support regularly. • Working closely with the teams, develop a detailed plan and targets for e-commerce adoption in the customer base including customer on-boarding activities, marketing materials, sales activities etc. • Improve online performance and their return on investment To hear more about this opportunity contact
