Reporting directly to the VP Investment Operations, the Investment Operational Analyst will assist the Investments Operations team in assisting with the implementation of a new trading platform and middle-office system. The person will provide analytical support throughout the project including, the trade settlement process, the investment guideline compliance platform, and in ensuring the accuracy and interpretation of our data on an initial 6 month contract, with strong possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work within a small and experienced Investments team. The role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the ongoing development of our investment processes and systems.

Core Responsibilities
• Work with Investment Operations team to review and reconcile broker related data and third-party platform connectivity to ensure accurate information and delivery of trades with our external partners. • Review and ensure accuracy for compliance data, ensuring accuracy of the reporting for the internally and externally managed investment portfolios. • Review data quality across investment systems, including external vendors, proprietary databases, and internal trading systems and provide recommendations to Operations team with regards to updating the data. • Assist with internal reporting related to the Investments business unit. • Assist with the review and production of the monthly and quarterly performance and risk reports. • Document processes and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution. • Experience in investments or fund accounting required. • Knowledge of securities settlement and/or asset servicing operations is an advantage. • Strong analytical skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Self-starter and ability to work independently. • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
