Claims Quality Data Analyst

Our client is looking for a Claims Lead to examine and analyse the quality of the complete Claims handling process for continuous improvement in the most effective way to support the delivery of a customer centric claims service in a manner that supports the basics. The right person for this position will be a high-level influencer internally focused – the job’s core deliverables rely on influencing or negotiating with a broad range of internal clients, executives and/or senior management.

Your Role as the Claims QA Lead

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct oversight of the Claims Quality Assurance programme to ensure the effectiveness of branch level Claims Quality Assurance processes. • Monitor the effectiveness of branch-developed improvement activity in order to continuously enhance claims handling processes • Liaising closely with senior managers to ensure that all stakeholders are immediately aware of any important issues identified during the file reviews. • Provision of timely and accurate management information for the team and CCO. • Ensure branch adherence to Central Bank of Ireland (and branch/local) regulatory requirements • Adhere to regulatory and governance requirements. • Any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Governance & Claims Quality Assurance.

Business Accountabilities

• Participate in leadership team meetings to provide specialist guidance and enable implementation of policy, projects and change initiatives. • Establish relationships with colleagues across multiple functions to be able to keep them informed of relevant issues based on your claims specialisation, providing advice to help develop claims policies and practices. • Prepare draft manuals for Claims based on accepted changes to policies and procedures to ensure that they are up to date and aligned to Global Claims. • Research primary data sources, analyse key themes and trends and make recommendations to inform policy and/or practices across the network. • Analyse and review complex data from multiple sources to make informed, authoritative technical/professional recommendations in order to improve business performance • Provide specialise advice to address specific technical queries from internal clients and deliver appropriate solutions
