We are partnering with a global FMCG leader on the appointment of a Head of Supply Chain. This role is an exciting opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the Ireland business. There are some exciting business challenges to be tackled allowing the incumbent to grow and develop professionally. Heading up the Supply Chain function for Ireland, this role will be responsible for all elements of the Supply Chain Operations function and serve as the key Supply Chain contact for Ireland within the UKIRL region and within the broader international context. Key Responsibilities • Manage Demand Planning, Innovation, Renovation, Inventory, Transport, Distribution & Customer Service operations for the Ireland business • People Management, including developing, coaching and mentoring the Supply Chain team to become a high performing team • Manage 3PL Warehousing, Transport, Distribution and other Service Partners. Participate in and lead 3PL contract reviews and negotiations • Work closely with customers on value chain management including forecasting sell-through, inventory planning and management, driving continuous improvement in all supply chain practices. • Drive the GPS process ensuring that it operates as a cross functional business process • Act as the owner of the Business Continuity Plan • Communicate Supply Chain objectives clearly to other functions to ensure cross-functional collaboration • Stakeholder engagement: Establish and develop strong relationships with senior level representatives from external 3PL’s and other key partners. Key Skills • At least 10 years experience in a senior supply chain position ideally in an FMCG environment • Strong commercial acumen • Excellent financial skills • Proven people management experience in a complex environment • Strategic thinker who can navigate complex situations with ease • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to influence at different levels internally and externally within the organisation For more details, please contact Anne Marie Walsh on 01 662 1000 or [email protected]
