We are searching for a Compliance Officer to take on a key role in a South Dublin Financial Services company

The company work in the management of distressed assets, monitoring a portfolio of mainly commercial loans in the Irish market. The role has a broad scope, covering a range of Compliance duties in the 2nd Line of Defence. It is a CF2 position, and would suit someone who has worked in Compliance for 3-5 years in a Retail Banking, Asset Servicing, or Insurance background. With the scope of duties, the advantage of this position is that you won't be pigeon-holed into one area.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
  • Covering a broad range of Compliance, AML, and Risk activities under the jurisdiction of the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI)
  • Review, monitor, implement, and adapt the Compliance plan, while keeping a view on upstream changes to regulations in a space governed by the CPC, CCMA, 4th/5th EU AML Directive, etc.
  • Take part in the monitoring of Data Protection Compliance, and be a point of contact for Data Protection queries
  • Working closely, and directly, with the Senior Compliance Manager and CEO to plan and execute Compliance monitoring, and prepare/draft reports to will go the the Central Bank of Ireland
  • Being in close communication with different teams in the business, getting to know them, and influence a positive Compliance culture
This is a Control Function position, and is a great opportunity to develop a lot of experience in a in Compliance in a heavily regulated area. We're ideally looking for someone with qualifications in Compliance (LCOI or similar), and about 3-5 years' experience in a role where you have had very good exposure to AML, 2nd line Compliance, and working with the Consumer Protection Code (CPC) in particular.
