Brightwater are recruiting for a multinational Investment Management company. We are searching for a Quantitative Risk Specialist who will manage the corporate risk models for the business.

You will work with a global team of 7 specialists based in different jurisdictions and take on the responsibility of risk model validation for the Dublin entity. This is a new role, and an exciting position for someone who have developed their skills in modelling risk and analysing data to make sure the company is aware of, and staying within, its acceptable risk limits.

What will you do day to day?
    This position sits within the Enterprise Risk Management team You will work closely to develop, maintain, and improve the risk models for the internal business of the company, evaluating the assumptions and limitations of the risk models Work to ensure the most recent regulatory guidelines from the Central Bank of Ireland and all relevant regulators are being met and complied with from the model risk perspective Be the key person in Dublin to interact with the wider business, communicating and reporting on the risk models and what they mean for the business, and responding to queries from the regulator Making sure that anything that requires escalation to the Risk Management teams is done so
We are looking for:
    An engaging person who has the drive to take on a standalone role Someone with a postgraduate degree in Maths, Engineering, Actuarial or a Scientific discipline would be ideal About 5 years'+ experience working with risk models in a corporate risk framework Experience with some programming tools such as R Studio, Python, MATLAB, VBA, etc.
