CUSTOMS EXECUTIVE – DUBLIN WEST
Our client, a logistics company based in west Dublin are looking for a customs coordinator for their expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring correct customs paperwork is completed in timely fashion with relevant departments, companies, and governing bodies
Implement close controls around customs clearance procedures to ensure timely clearances at ports/land borders
Liaise closely with the Clearing Customs Agents to ensure paperwork is ‘live’ and accurate
Maintain a detailed log of all shipments and costings which can be shared with commercial and operational teams
Ensure entries are completed within the agreed time limit and the completed file is returned to operations on receipt.
Complete Customer Customs reporting
System updating and maintenance
Keep track of invoices and ensure timely settlement
The ideal candidate for this logistics administration job will have:
3+ years’ experience working with cross-border logistics subject to customs controls
In-depth knowledge of shipping/freight forwarding industry
Strong classification of goods/tariffs knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Excellent PC literacy and keyboard skills required
Fluent written and spoken English
Salary:
€35,000 - €45,000 plus excellent benefits package
