Corporate Security and Data Loss Prevention Specialist

As Corporate Security and Data Loss Prevention specialist, you will work with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, and Legal departments to respond to requests for data from Legal Entities and Regulators, like the Gardaí, and then safely transport and report on the data as well as actioning Data Loss Prevention alerts, and supporting other processes as needed.

The role:
• Responsible for the operation of a number of tasks including processing disclosure and other requests from Law Enforcement Agencies. • Ensuring a suite of checks are performed to ensure the continued integrity of the data retained and disclosed. • Supporting the Law Enforcement Liaison Manager in working with Technology and other internal stakeholders to ensure we have the systems in place to ensure full compliance, including defining detailed business requirements, test cases, performing testing. • Identifying and articulating any risks to management relating to compliance. • Obtaining legal advice from internal and external counsel when appropriate and ensuring the appropriate tracking is maintained. • Monitoring the team inbox, triaging any incidents that are reported and assigning them to members of the team as appropriate. • Monitoring and actioning the Data Loss Prevention system on a daily basis, ensuring all alerts are appropriately investigated and recorded. • Conducting data loss risk assessments, and testing data loss scenarios to ensure controls are functioning as designed.

Skills needed:
• 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role preferred • Legal or Compliance experience, or a Law Degree • A Data Protection background or qualification (CIPP/E etc.) • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills • Familiarity with Fraud and Risk in Telecoms an advantage • Excellent analytical and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to work to tight deadlines • High level of discretion and confidentiality
