Head of Security Services - Global organisation – South Dublin My client, a truly global software organisation based in South Dublin and specialising in providing support around the IBM ecosystem to a global client base, now has a requirement for a dynamic Head of Security Services due to continued growth. The successful candidate will join the global team and will be responsible for the management, delivery and development of a value-add security service portfolio which will helping my client’s customer base to protect their enterprise software products against growing numbers of cyber security threats. You will be the SME for Security in this organisation and will play a pivotal role in the continued success and delivery of a unique security value proposition to the global client base further demonstrating my client’s delivery around innovation and success. The role: • Assume full ownership of delivery / quality control of value-add security services (eg. product hardening guides, security advisories, virtual patching etc). • Be the Security SME demonstrating deep security skills and experience in articulating the value proposition to prospective customers in sales engagements, webinars, and conferences. • Take ownership of the development of new and existing security services in protecting enterprise IBM software products against cyberthreats. • Manage the security deliverables to the customers base, ensuring excellence in operational output, quality, and execution of goals. • Define the security strategy by growing a team to provide the capability required for the range and depth of security services for the organisation to support its target goals. • Develop the structure, resources, partners and roadmap required to execute the defined strategy. • Provide critical deal support to the sales team in addressing perceived blockers around security topics such as PCI compliance. The person: • 8+ years of IS / Cyber Security experience • 3+ years in a senior level management position preferred • IBM product experience an advantage • CISSP, CISA or CISM an advantage • Deep technical experience as an Enterprise Security Architect, Consultant • Strong client facing, influencing, relationship building skillset • Dynamic around developing creative solutions to complex security challenges • Strong focus on quality, risk management and attention to detail • Proven project management skills (local and global projects) • Strong technical knowledge of IT /digital systems and infrastructure • Entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity • Confidence to articulate opinions and position with conviction Interviewing immediately for the right candidates, Immediate start date also for those successful.
