Our client, a global general Insurance company based in Dublin City Centre, has a requirement for an experienced management accountant to join their finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the production of monthly / quarterly management accounts and financial reporting as required; • Support the Controller and Chief Financial Officer with the production of ad hoc Finance exhibits and analysis, as required; • Ongoing review of processes to streamline and address changing needs • Engage with internal and external auditors with control procedures and reporting requirements • Be flexible and provide support across Finance as required.

Skills / Experience required:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with 5+ years’ post qualification experience. • Previous accounting experience within an insurance company is essential. • Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills, with experience of working with large quantities of data. • Experience delivering reports to senior management. • Excellent communicator with experience building relationships within the business to ensure high quality information is communicated.
