A leading laboratory in Munster is seeking
Organic Chemistry Analysts
to expand it's team to facilitate the start of a new project. Working in a state of the art laboratory and adhering to stringent quality regulations you'll be part of a dedicated team of scientists and chemists.
About the role:
Analyzes samples using internal laboratory or compendial methodologies.
Conduct laboratory analysis utilizing ICP-MS, ICP-OES and IC technologies.
Accurately perform and interpret test results, notifying Lead Chemist or Technical Director of deviations.
Report concerns of equipment failures and non-compliance of supplies and reagents.
Perform quality control procedures to support compliance w/ ISO 17025 and other applicable guidelines.
Participate in internal audits of processes as directed
Conduct activities in an efficient matter, with prioritization of duties, to assure testing deadlines are met.
Ability to apply principles of scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Exhibits excellent laboratory skills in the use of balances, pipettes, and volumetricware.
Follows all safety protocols appropriate for the laboratory environment.
Maintain strong attention to detail while performing in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree or higher in Chemistry or related science
2+ years of analytical laboratory experience in Organic Chemistry
Experience in GC, GCMS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, LCMS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
