Senior Application Support Engineer (Limerick) Our client, the Irish Partner of a leading international customer engagement technology provider are looking for a seasoned full stack developer with additional experience of supporting both Product /Application Support Team working on Level 3 & 4 Incidents and available to assist Technical Sales Team where in-depth platform technical API integration capability knowledge input is required. As a seasoned responsible individual with the ability to work as part of a team but also, critically, autonomously you will be working hand-in-hand with the CTO with the opportunity to really make a mark on the business as it grows. Flexibility is key to this role as you will get exposure to many different projects, programming languages and build upon your existing skills.

Non Development:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Vendor Platform from both a user and technical (API) knowledge standpoint • Work with Technical Sales team on customer integration questions, proof of concepts etc. • Stay abreast of technical product roadmap, development enhancements, developer & user community product updates & technical feedback • Provide Level 3 / 4 Support to Technical Support Team where in-depth product backend knowledge is required to work to resolution.

Development:

• Experience in building frontend applications - Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic writing reusable, testable, and efficient code • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application • Implementation of security, authentication and data protection • Integration to / Communication with, Creation / Configuration of database / schemas • (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB experience) in support of critical business processes. • Experience with JavaScript, Node, React.js JQUERY and don't mind jumping into other programming languages as required. • Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Redux, Express.js).
