Our client is a well-known financial services institution who is looking to appoint a chief economist to lead the economic team to enhance and develop the institution’s profile with investors in sovereign bond markets. Based in Dublin City with an excellent package.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the international investor relations programme. • Deliver monthly fiscal updates to international investors. • Work with the external stakeholders on economic and fiscal analysis. • Provide regular insights both internally and externally on trends in both domestic and global economy. • Provide overall economic analysis, research and support across the wider group as required.
Skills
• Third level qualification required, preferably in an economics or business discipline and a minimum 5 years’ relevant and demonstrable experience operating at a senior level. • An expert understanding of analytical techniques such as statistics, econometrics, mathematical and research tools. • Excellent understanding and strong experience in preparing and presenting research papers. • Ability to develop and run thought leadership and public economic commentary.
