A leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing site in Waterford is seeking a
Quality and Compliance Manager.
This is a key Senior appointment for the site and reports directly to the Site Quality Lead. In this role you will be responsible for management and oversight of QMS design, development, enhancement and continuous improvement. You will develop and implement effective compliance performance metrics and strategies for trending, monitoring, and developing improvement plans. You will work closely with the Quality Operational leadership team to support improvement within the operational areas.
About the Job:
Accountable for managing and ensuring the continuous improvement of the site Quality Systems.
Provide guidance, leadership and support to a dynamic team of 25+ Quality Personnel.
Plan and direct the team with minimal direction but look for assistance and guidance when appropriate.
Make decisions based on data and facts and communicate impact to the appropriate levels.
Embrace a culture of accountability and practice inclusion and respect for all team members and departments.
Opportunity to represent QC at forums both internally and external to the site. Also involves opportunities to deputize for the QC Manager.
Involvement in the launch of new drug products and gaining experience in the latest analytical techniques.
University level degree, preferably Science or Engineering discipline.
Previous Management level experience (2+years).
Experience within both Quality Assurance and a Quality Control.
Relevant experience working (8+years) in a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry or other combination of experience and education background that may otherwise satisfy the requirements of the role.
Strong ability to influence, must have a high level of personal credibility as a spokesperson for Quality.
Robust analytical skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills.
