An Irish success story is seeking to add a Manufacturing/Project Engineer onto their team. Working in a dynamic and innovation driven environment you'll provide direct support to the Engineering Manager and team and work on both the introduction of new machinery and processes and also on the optimization of existing machinery and processes. About the Job:

  • Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
  • Responsibility to drive the commissioning of new machinery and/or production lines.
  • Project management including determining Project Specifications, Objectives, Schedule and Plan.
  • Completes engineering projects, “on time & within budget”, by organising and controlling all project elements.
  • Adherence to good manufacturing practices and compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality and Hygiene requirements
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • About You:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required.
  • Previous experience in managing projects is required.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification
  • Demonstrates strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Work Autonomously
  • Work as part of a team and to lead a team through a technical project where necessary
  • Good time management skills
  • Engage in creative problem solving and work as an effective group member
  • Basic principles of critical thinking / problem solving and communication skills
  • Fluent English speaker
