Our client based in Galway is currently recruiting for an experienced finance professional to take on a busy Group Management Accounting role for an initial period of at least 6 months. The business is a large SME group of companies operating in the hospitality and leisure sectors. This is an excellent role for a strong and experienced accountant/manager. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a similar role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Financial management of a small company group • Monthly management accounts preparation with commentary • Statutory reporting annual basis and audit compliance • Commercial finance - business meetings and MI reporting • All tax returns and compliance • Maintaining and improving finance systems • Leading multisite finance team • Cashflow and budgeting management • Payroll oversight & Ad hoc reporting as required.
