Role Overview

Develop and lead the HR function across talent & performance management, succession planning, comps & bens and organizational development to drive forward the firm’s ambitious strategic expansion plans in Ireland and multiple international regions in the UK & EU. Define & execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to enable growth trajectory, leading the organizational development & training plans alongside their line management teams. Ensure a strong and innately people focused HR practice in nurtured, leveraging and combining local & group company culture, values, and vision as the firm evolves into its next stage of growth plans, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the formulation, implementation, & monitoring of a fitting overall HR strategy. • Develop a strategy for the delivery of resources for all markets in conjunction with the country leads. • Manage and enable staff growth plans as per strategy in line with the ideal anticipated time frames and budgets. • Oversee and direct the learning & training function of the organisation, in line with CPD (Continuous Professional Development) objectives. • Manage the HR management information & reporting tools – ensuring effective MI reports are in place against actuals versus budgets, and variance/trends analyses across defined KPIs. • Initiate and manage the company’s human resource planning & budgeting process, in line with local and group corporate guidelines. • Monitor and ensure the compliance of all operations with guidelines & regulations for health, safety and welfare, employment law, GDPR and all other regulations affecting employees and contractors. • Drive and oversee the development of the teams and manage the appropriate leadership activities including employee performance reviews, development plans, talent management and succession planning. • Be a key participant and contributor in the Senior Management Team and Management Team and drive the firm’s agenda making sure people are informed, with collective buy in and alignment against different priorities. • Ensure strong communication lines and updates are kept with Group HR Director. • Lead and mentor one direct report in Ireland, with responsibilities for all the firms’ people processes of an expanding business growing up to 100+ employees across multiple locations.

Ideal Profile:

• Degree qualified in HR or specialism in HR. MBA or advanced degree would be beneficial but not critical. • CIPD qualification with sound knowledge of current employment legislation & best practices in Ireland a must. Additional employment legislation knowledge across UK / DE or other EU regions would be beneficial. • 10 years + in HR with at least 5 years’ experience successfully delivering at a senior HR level in a corporate/scale up environment. • Ability to lead and coach others at levels up to and including Director level would be an advantage. • Qualified and accredited coach would be advantage. • Experienced in talent management including identification, development planning and supporting with emerging talent programmes such as graduates and apprentices. • Natural ability to build effective and strong stakeholder relations at all levels, maintaining key focus on outcomes, results, and timelines. • Excellent communication, influencing & presentation skills. • Adept in organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask while managing multiple stakeholders. • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, scale up team environment.
