About the Company
A leading global manufacturer of premium ignition products which are sold in Ireland and across the world. The company are going through a period of growth and require a quality and technical manager for their manufacturing site in Louth.
About the Position
The purpose of this role is to ensure the quality, legality and safety of all products. Within this role it is essential to ensure continued certification to external and customer standards.
This is a permanent position where we are looking an experienced Chemistry professional with Quality Control and Auditing experience. Within this team you will be the go to person for all things chemistry related.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure best practices are in place & processes are in place to challenge the system with a view for continuous improvement.
Manage & facilitate audits.
Ensure products are manufactured according to specification & customer requirements.
Support manufacturing function.
Ensure quality, legality & safety of all products in compliance with external and customer accreditation.
Maintain the environmental & sustainability programme on site.
Maintain the legal register to ensure products, packaging and processes meet legal requirements.
Manage the FSC process for co-packed stock.
Experience/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Chemistry related discipline
3 years Quality Control experience
3 years manufacturing experience
Experience in a senior Quality or Technical role in a manufacturing environment
Experience in leading external audits (BRC, ISO, Customers)
