The first of these evenings took place on the 10th March in Sam's Bar, on Dawson Street.

Guest Speaker:  Marie Joyce - Chief Financial Officer, NTR plc

Marie joined NTR plc in 2004 and has held executive financial and commercial roles across the Group during this time, including Chief Commercial Officer of NTR plc and Chief Financial Officer of Wind Capital Group. During her time as Chief Financial Officer of Wind Capital Group she successfully carried out a $380 million financing of 200MW of wind. Prior to NTR plc, Marie was Senior Director of Strategic Planning for Élan Corporation plc, where she played a pivotal role in that company’s $2 billion financial restructuring and fundraising programme, and was previously an Audit & Corporate Finance Manager at Arthur Andersen. Marie is the Chairperson of Make a Wish Ireland and also sits on the Ethics and Governance Committee of Chartered Accountants Ireland. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Galway, a Masters in Accounting from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
