As proud supporters of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Brightwater's accountancy team was delighted to attend the Chartered Accountants Ireland Annual Conference 2018. Following on from last year's theme of "Disruption", this year's theme was "Evolve" and the impressive line up of speakers made the conference a huge success.

- The Chartered Accountants Annual Conference 2018 took place in Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny on the 10th and 11th May 2018.
Brightwater was delighted to be sponsor this year along with Bank of Ireland and confirmation.com. As proud supporters of Chartered Accountants, it was great to see everyone so engaged with the speakers. The event saw the Practitioners Forum being held on the Thursday while the main conference was on the Friday with leadership and finance and regulation streams seeing a packed out audience.

It was a terrific event and the panel discussions were particularly lively. The hot topics of Brexit, GDPR, working with millenials, and innovation to drive success were all extremely well received.
Congratulations to Catherine Corcoran from RSM who was the delighted winner of the Brightwater prize draw and went home with a €200 Brown Thomas voucher and a bottle of Moet.
