Financial Reporting Accountant
About the Company
Our client, a leading international insurance company are recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant within their team. This will suit a recently qualified Accountant trained in a Big 4 accountancy firm or with financial reporting experience in an insurance or financial services company.
About the Position
Key Responsibilities

Assist with quarterly financial reports preparation for presentation to the Board.

Annual financial statements including supporting documentation.

Support the external audit signoff process.

Support the transformation of the Controlling teams to increased data quality and efficiencies.

Work with FP&A, Business Partners and Actuarial to drive internal and external reporting consistency.

Contribute to budget and forecast process to ensure consistency and accuracy across stat and GAAP bases.

Assist Solvency II reporting and Regulatory reporting.

Assist the preparation of local statutory returns across the region including communication to the local finance teams.
Experience/Requirements

Recently qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)

Experience within a “Big 4” accounting firm and/ or relevant accounting experience within a multinational Financial Services firm preferred.

Experience in financial reporting in an insurance organisation an advantage.

Self-motivated, ambitious and inquisitive personality.
Remuneration Package
€60,000 - €65,000 + Bonus and Benefits
