Demand Planner  – MRP/ MPS Lead – Med Tech
About the Company
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Planner based in Dublin. This an opportunity to work with a large manufacturing facility who are focused in the medical device sector.
They have recently secured a  large international programs and this client is seeing major growth in demand for their services. They have a reputation across the world as being one of the most successful in health related medical devices and  in project delivery, and are currently involved in some of the most important global health programs.  
About the Position
Working closely with Senior procurement team and Operations you will  translate the demand plans into meaningful supply plans and subsequent production schedule, building adequate and agreed upon FG stock cover. You will manage the purchasing process and own the supplier relationships, enabling the efficient purchasing, management and tacking of inventory.
Experience/Requirements 
Within this role you will be involved in

• Translation of the supply plan into a production plan and subsequent schedule for Operations.
• Team leading and team management in the planning area.
• Daily / Weekly tracking of that schedule against plan and reporting of the progress against the plan to the business.
• Manage team meetings and progress status updates.
• Maintenance of Item Level Master Data & BOMs
• Monitor the schedules and time scales regarding design and delivery.
• Manage junior planners to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Generate regular report on the project status.
• Work with both the warehouse & labs to track and report on stressed/ slow moving stock to support inventory optimization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives centred on maximizing ERP utilization via increased usage of Demand Planning, Forecasting, MPS, MRP & CRP functionality.

• A min or 5 years demand planning experience.
• A related Engineering qualification
• You MUST be degree qualified
• Ideally you will have experience in a manufacturing environment.  
• A self-starter and the ability to manage multiple projects as any given time.
• Experience with Microsoft Suit and in particular, Excel
• Have excellent computer skills and a knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word plus experience with forecasting Tools & ERP systems. Strong emphasis in MPS, MRP, CRP & PP
• Data manipulation capability and proven analytical skills required.
