System Integration Manger – Rail Program
You must be in Ireland and have the right to work in Europe for this role. This is an engineer role and not an IT role.
You must have prior experience in Rail to be suited to this role.
About the Company
We are currently looking to recruit a Systems Integration Manger for rail expansion programs in Ireland, based from Dublin. This an opportunity to work with one of Europe’s largest engineering companies who have experience in large infrastructure and transport programs. This consultancy manages and delivers large scale projects from the planning stage to handover and have expertise, and a successful record across Europe.
They have recently secured a number of large rail projects across the Rail network in Ireland. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a sector that is as important to the consumer as it is to the environment. These rail expansion programs are essential to improve the network across the Munster region
About the Position
As System Integration Manager you will provide senior engineering management to the company and client with extensive knowledge of railway systems, including project delivery, systems assurance, safety engineering CSM, PSDP/PSCS infrastructure, system design and carriage interaction.
Experience/Requirements
Within this role you will be involved in
Manage the systems design team and managing technical aspects related to all rail related projects
Manage the system integration processes from design to construction and Testing and Commissioning
Implement efficient processes to manage system safety.
Be responsible for the consistency of the sub-systems deliverables across all projects
Ensure the production of System level specifications across disciplines
Manage compliance procedures, relevant regulations, relevant applicable standards and statutory requirements from the client.
Liaise with project manager team for all system related issues or decisions, represent systems teams in meetings, provide technical opinion and support.
Develop the System level Functional and Architecture Specifications
Coordinate the Quality aspects of systems deliverables as per the project Quality Management plan principles.
Review and approve (wherever applicable) all deliverables, act as a technical control level across projects.
Support the delivery teams.
Client management and regular status meeting on delivery
For this role you are required to have;
10 years of experience in Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience as a System Integrator / Design Manager
Excellent knowledge of railway systems,
Significant experience of developing and implementing strategies for projects and programmes
Excellent understanding to Systems Engineering
Proven capability in managing design for a rail system, especially in multi-disciplinary environments.
Stakeholder experience is essential for this role.
Excellent engineering, analytical and problem-solving abilities
